What is a Project Sponsor?

At the Community Infrastructure Center (CIC), we support two user types: Project Sponsors and Providers. 

Project Sponsors:
A Project Sponsor refers to a community actively involved in developing infrastructure or climate resilience projects in the predevelopment phase.They initiate projects, seek partnerships, and require support to navigate through various stages of development.

Examples of Project Sponsors:

• Municipalities
• Nonprofit Organizations
• Tribal Communities
• Government Agencies
